Sizing
How to Measure:
Use a ruler and measure from the base of your palm to the bottom of your middle finger with your hand laid flat. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for the best fit.
Warranty
All Rx Smart Gear products have been thoroughly inspected and found to be in proper operating condition upon shipment from the factory and are warranted to be free from any defect in workmanship and material that may develop within 60 days from date of purchase. Any part or parts of the jump rope that prove defective within 60 days shall be replaced without charge providing such defect, in our opinion, is due to faulty material or workmanship and not caused by tampering, abuse, misapplication or improper use. Using an Rx Jump Rope on concrete, asphalt, dirt, gravel or any other abrasive surface will automatically void the Manufacturer's Warranty. The purchaser takes full responsibility to return the product back to Rx Smart Gear, Inc. for inspection and/or repairs. Any alterations of the product made by anyone other than Rx Smart Gear renders this warranty null and void. Warranty period does not start until the date of delivery. *Color Disclaimer* Despite every effort to accurately duplicate each product's color when reproduced to our website, actual colors may vary. Due to monitor and/or video card differences, subtle variations in color and surface texture may not be fully revealed. Again, these are custom products and CANNOT be returned. Therefore you need to be certain that any slight variations occurring between the actual color, and the representation on our website, will be acceptable. Cable colors can vary within cable weights of the same color due to differences in the thickness of the outer coating. *Cable Disclaimer* Jump rope cables will wear out over time and will need to be replaced. Cable lifespan will vary depending on jumping surface, volume of use, technique, and other factors.
Care
You can use a wire brush. Sometimes the chalk and pressure will matte down the hairs and make the palm strap smooth, use a wire brush to de-matte. Do not submerge in water as this will tarnish/weather the leather. We recommend laying out flat in the sun to get rid of smell, or taking a damp cloth and lightly rubbing the palm strap, but there are no set recommendations for washing leather.

We have made it easier to size your grips. Measure from the base of your wrist to the tip of your middle finger. If the number is up to 7.5" go with a Small/Medium, if it's longer than 7.5" go with a Large/X-Large.
Yes the grips are great for beginners and advanced athletes alike.

There is no break in period with the soft leather grips. Add chalk and get to work!
Grips usually last about a year.

Yes, the Alec Smith Grips are Games Approved and ready for competiton.
The grips come labeled with Left and Right. Strap them on and you're ready to go.
A stragegically placed piece of elastic meant to tuck away your grip when doing other movements in the gym. Don't let the grips flap and get in the way during movements like double unders.
Keep your grips in their mesh bag to keep them aired out. No one wants musty, stinky grips. Give them air.
A good scrub with a wire brush will fluff the leather back up and break up chalk. Avoid water and chemicals.
New, unused grips can be sent back to us for a different size or refund.

1) if its within a few uses from the purchase. Please send us a picture.
2) if it’s been over 3 months, we do not replace. Grips will wear down. Chalk and storage with moisture can soften leather and cause them to rip.
We have moved to the 2.0 version only and the 1.0 will not be coming back to stock. We have added a few minor adjustments to the 2.0. We have added a half and inch longer and quarter of an inch wider to each palm strap.
