Replacement Cable - Poseidon 1/4 Pound

This is my second rope from RXSG. My first one, The "Buff" rope is wore down to the nubbin but is still in use. For my new rope I got this hot pink replacement rope, "Ultra 1.8" and had them put it on the checkered "Finisher" handles. It's super light and fast compared to the "Buff" gauge rope- it really flies.
I've used other brands. RXSG is so well made, functional and durable. I think they're the best for my style and what I do- straight ahead long ass jump rope workouts- to music. So fun- changing my life.

Replacing the cables makes it so much easier to keep good ropes in the gym

I started using the new rope... same as my last rope. But I guess that I have to get adjusted to this new rope because I seem to be tripping over the rope more than I did with my old one.
Is that normal?
